As with all of my calls, simplicity is my number two concern, quality it number one!  I worked to get the most realistic, immature buck sound I could.  Doe's and buck's are not bothered enough with the young wanna be bucks, to snort and run from them.  In fact, doe's tend to hang around and the mature boys come to run off these pretenders!  I personally enjoy having a lot of deer action around me, that allows me to pick and choose what I want to shoot.  Thus, the "stick" came about.  The original stick was about 5 1/2 inches long and made 1 of the 6 to 8 notes immature bucks make, but hearing what my customers said and wanted, the lower end notes, I decided to adjust the call to fit in pockets and make 1 of the lower 2 or 3 notes.

Just cup your hand around the small end, and blow into the large end (make that urp, urp, urp grunt sound as you blow) and you will simply get a great, authentic, immature buck sound that will drive the old boys nuts while not bothering the doe's.  By just blowing into the large end without cupping your hand over the small end you get a great sound, so making that grunt is so easy, and you can carry it in your pocket since it is now only 3 1/2 inches long.
