Here it is!  Solid cherry, walnut or a mix of cherry and walnut, only 5 inches long and 1 inch in diameter, this call makes the perfect 1 to 3 year old immature buck grunt.  The doe's dont shy away from the young bucks, and the older bucks come in to run them off!  Why use a long rubber and plastic call that you have to move the rubber band on, or push a button to use, and that most other calls are long and always in the way?

 Instead of those plastic and rubber mouth piece calls, use this solid wood call that is tuned to make that perfect immature buck sound with a simple blow.  This call makes the sound quickly and easily, just cup your hand over the small end enabling you to make differnt URP sounds, blow into the large end and that is all you have to do.  You never have to adjust the rubber band, or open the call or any of those "normal" call adjusting things, just blow!

This is sealed and treated so you never have to open it, in fact it is designed to not be opened, just blow in it!  Yes, it can freeze up like all of the calls can, if you get the reed wet with saliva, and hunt in freezing weather, but then just "stick" the "stick" in your pocket (it is small so it will fit).

I put 3 lanyard positions on this call if you choose to use a lanyard, each end and the middle.  The design is to be simple and easy, we all have more important things to worry about than "will the call work", so just put the "stick" to use and have fun calling a lot of deer around you, the pick out the one you want and "stick" it to em!

For years I have used numerous cow elk calls made from a number of different materials, or a mix of materials.  None of these calls gave me the rich, sweet, soft sound that you actually hear when you listen to the heard as the cows and calves talk among themselves.

I worked with a professional musician friend of mine who helped me make a mouthpiece that works just like the mouthpiece on a musical instrument, along with how to place and design the reed and how it meets the specific angles of the call.  These features combined, along with the all cherry wood call, reproduce the perfect cow and calf sound I was looking for.

"Sweet Mama" is about 3 1/2 inches long and 1 inch around and made of cherry.  These are pretty calls and the sound is awsome!  Unlike other calls of this type, this is designed to be used with the reed down, using your lower, more sensitive lip, as the sound control on the reed.  Simply place your upper lip in the middle of the mouthpiece biting down on the reed with your lower lip.  Keep it about half way on the mouthpiece to start with, then blow into the call and let the wood and reed do the work.
