All of my calls are made here in America, by me!!!  I hand make each call, there is no large production runs using NC machines, each call is made by hand, shaped by hand, sanded by hand and tuned by hand! 

For 2010, there are now 2 box calls made of hard woods (DSMH - Walnut, maple or cherry and blood wood) and (JB Hen - Purple heart and maple or cherry).

By holding the call in this manner, with the larger base that I have added to the call, you are free to let the paddle do the work, and the sides of the call are always free from any muting effect of your hand.

The laser engraved Purple Heart, or Bloodwood paddle, which is extremely hard wood imported from South America, makes the best paddles of any wood I have tried.  It provides a hard edge for striking the call box and is easily sanded, or chalked, for use!

 Turkey hunters know we hunt during the time of year when things have a tendency to be, or get, wet!  In order to keep the calls protected from some of the weather, and wet ground, I have designed a water resistent bag that I iinclude with each box call.  I have nicknamed this bag, "the turkey roost".

So, here is a look at the Double Spur Mature Hen (DSMH) turkey box call with the turkey roost bag!  The JB Hen (JB Hen), purple heart call will come with the same turkey roost bag!
